This is the spine of my Deutsche Bahn post-purchase case, lifted off travel. Each stage carries the question you ask, the rule you enforce, what it produced in the worked example, and a blank you fill in for your own company. Answer all thirteen and you have the case. Skip one and you have a demo.

How to use itWork top to bottom. The order is the argument: you cannot choose a problem before you know the moment, and you cannot evaluate before you know what the model is allowed to decide.
The rule columnThe rules are the non-negotiable part. They are what separates a system that fails loudly from one that is confidently wrong in front of a customer.
The blank columnNothing is stored anywhere. Fill your answers in, then export a plain text brief you can paste into a doc, a repo or a first meeting.
